France President Emmanuel Macron has joined the world to sympathize with Ukrainians, describing the images from Bucha as “unbearable”.
Macron shared his compassion for Ukrainians and the victims, adding that Russian authorities will have to answer for these crimes.
Macron tweeted via his Twitter handle on Sunday saying: “The images reaching us from Boutcha, a liberated town near kyiv, are unbearable. In the streets, hundreds of cowardly murdered civilians.
“My compassion for the victims, my solidarity with the Ukrainians. The Russian authorities will have to answer for these crimes.”
Recall that Images had earlier emerged of Ukrainian civilians lying dead on the streets of Bucha with residents saying the victims were killed by Russian soldiers without any apparent provocation.
Bucha’s mayor, Anatoliy Fedoruk, had said that more than 300 residents had been killed, according to Sky Sports.
President, Vladimir Putin, started the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, without provocation and prior notice of war.
