The Nigeria Senate had a major breakthrough for the bill seeking to abrogate the dichotomy between higher national diploma (HND) and bachelor’s degree holders as the Senate passed it on Wednesday.
The bill scaled through after the consideration and adoption of a report on the Bill presented by Senator Ahmad Kaita, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund, at plenary.
The bill was sponsored by senator for Ondo Central, Senator Ayo Akinyelure.
