According to news reports, An oil pipeline has been blown up by some unknown militants within Delta state early this morning.
The said pipeline, Trans Forcados export line located in Batan communities in the state was attacked today by militants, although there is no group claiming responsibility yet.
This occurred after a militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Madate (NDGJM), warned the Federal Government to prepare for another attack on oil facilities in the delta region in no distant time, because they are not settling for a ceasefire as declared by sister militant groups.
In the mean time, The militant group, Niger-Delta Avengers, on Monday warned President Buhari against dealing with “sycophants” in his search for peace in the Niger Delta Region.
The affected line, which receives crude from the Batan flow station and feeds the Forcados export terminal, is operated by the Pipelines and Product Marketing Company, PPMC.
